Daniel is a data scientist at eBay on the research team at the Israel office. He has been working at eBay for 5 years where he gained a passion for machine learning, having spent this time solving interesting Structured Data problems.
Daniel earned his B.Sc. in computer engineering from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, U.S.A. and went on to receive his M.Sc. degree in computer science from the Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel. Daniel comes from a background of Natural Language Processing, having written his thesis dissertation on the subject of identifying multi-word expressions from unstructured text. Currently, Daniel is continuing his work in the Structured Data domain on enriching the complex structure of eBay's inventory.
